Directions from Bordeaux (Mérignac) Airport

Overview
Bordeaux (Mérignac) Airport is some 180 miles west of Pasturat. There are a number of alternative routes - the one shown here has been chosen because it is the most rapid and simple. The drive takes about three hours and is primarily on motorway, following the A62 toward Montauban and then the A20 up to Cahors.

Leaving the airport
Turn RIGHT onto the Avenue de Beaudésert / D213E2 for just under half a mile. Take the 3rd exit off the first roundabout to take the Avenue René Cassin / D106E1 to the next roundabout  where you take the 2nd exit to join the A630 / E05 / E70, which is the ring-road around Bordeaux.

From Bordeaux to Cahors

Follow the ring-road for some 8 miles, and then take exit (Sortie) 19 to join the A62/E72 following signs to AGEN, PAU & TOULOUSE. Stay on the A62 for 120 miles, finally leaving it at exit 10, signposted MONTAUBAN. Follow signs for PARIS & LIMOGES on the E9, which also doubles as the A20 (and, for a 5 mile stretch) the N20. Follow the A20 for 25 miles up to exit 58, signposted Cahors. Click here for a map and detailed directions of the last few miles.
