The rural-france.com website describes holiday accomodation (a gite) available for weekly rental in
Pasturat, in the lovely Lot valley, near Cahors, in Southwest France.
The panel to the left allows you to find your way around the site; the highlighted button
indicates the page that you are on. To move to a different page, click on the appropriate button in the panel.
To discover more about each part of the site, move your cursor over a button, and a little box should appear
describing the part of the site accessible by clicking on that button.
Clicking on the logo panel at the top of any page will take you back to the first page on the site, which
describes the gite.
You can also use the handy search box, at the foot of the panel, to search the site for particular topics.
When you see this icon, it indicates that there is a video available: clicking on the
icon will open a new window to display the video. Only use this facility if you have a
high-speed Internet connection (ADSL, ISDN or cable), as it will not work on lower speed
dial-up links. There will be a short delay (during which you will see a black screen)
before the video starts to play. The length of this delay (which could last up to 30
seconds) depends upon the speed of your Internet connection. For convenience, all the
available videos are also accessible from the 'Videos' page.
Printing Tip:
The gite contains a printed copy of the website (as well as lots of other documentation on the local area).
If you want to print off any pages from this website yourself, you are advised to select 'Print Preview' from the
'File' menu option at the top left of your browser window, to check that the page will print OK.
If you need to, select 'Page Setup' from the 'File' menu, to change your margin settings.
Most pages are printable as they appear; those that aren't sport a link to a printer-friendly
version - look out for the little printer-icon.
The photos on the site
were mostly taken by Mike Griffin. Where not, there is always a link to the site containing the original photo.
