The holiday accommodation (gite) is in the tiny hamlet of Pasturat, which is about 12 miles
east of the medieval town of
Cahors,
and just the other side of the Lot valley from the little village of
St. Géry, in the département of the Lot.

From the North:
The quickest way down is via the A20, which starts at Vierzon, some 60 odd miles south of Orleans,
and continues south via Chateauroux, Limoges and Brive to Cahors. If you come via Paris, take the
peripherique and follow signs for Bordeaux, to leave on the A10 and then the A71 to Orleans.

Come via Toulouse, following signs to Paris and Bordeaux on the A62. 25 miles or so north of Toulouse,
leave the A62 for the A20, on exit 10, following signs for Montauban and Paris. 35 miles later, leave the A20
on exit 58, following signs for Cahors on the N20. Here is a

Crossing the Channel

Take the Toulouse train from the Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris, which stops at Cahors.
It's a 5-6 hour journey, depending on the time of day. The

or take a taxi: the gite is a 25 minute ride away.
