The gite is rented by the week, and the rent depends upon the season, as follows:
The prices quoted above are for the current season and are all-inclusive: there are no hidden extras.
Bed-linen and bath towels are provided, as is independant central heating, if required, out of season.
The sterling prices are fixed; we reserve the right to vary the euro and dollar prices should exchange
rates fluctuate too much.
The gite is well-equipped, with a full range of kitchen equipment including microwave, grill, kettle
and coffee-machine, as well as iron, ironing-board, hairdryer and portable coldbox. Guests are advised to
bring their own pool-towels.

email to reserve ; a deposit of 25% of the rent payable will then confirm your reservation. The balance of 75% is payable 2 months before the beginning of your holiday term.

Rental agreement
Rental Terms
1. The tenants shall rent the holiday accommodation described in section 13 between Saturday _______ 200n, and Saturday _____ 200n, in consideration of which they will pay the landlords a rent of £______ per week.
2. The rent is payable as follows:
- 25% with the signed rental agreement, to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining 75% a minimum of two months in advance of the commencement of the rental period.
3. The tenants shall arrive no earlier than 4.00 p.m. on the first day of rental and shall vacate the accommodation no later than 10:00 a.m. on the last day of the rental period.
4. The tenants shall not sub-let the holiday accommodation to any third party.
5. The tenants shall not keep any animals in the holiday accommodation during their tenancy.
6. The rental period may not be extended without the prior approval of the landlords. Similarly, no refund is payable if the tenant chooses to occupy the accommodation for less than the agreed rental period.
Care of the accommodation:
7. The tenants shall not put the holiday accommodation to any commercial use during their tenancy, but will occupy it peacefully and in a manner so as not to disturb the neighbourhood, treating the accommodation and its contents with care and respect.
8. The tenants shall not smoke inside the holiday accommodation, nor allow others to do so.
9. At the end of the tenancy, the tenants will clean the holiday accommodation, returning it to the landlords in the same state of cleanliness as it was at the start of their tenancy. (A cleaning service is available at a cost of 40 euros).
10. At the beginning of the tenancy, the landlords will provide the tenants with an inventory of the holiday accommodation's contents and the tenants and landlords will note the holiday accommodation's decorative state. The tenants will bring to the landlords' immediate attention any error or omission in the inventory or description, and give the landlords a deposit of 400 euros (£250/$350) against any damages which may be incurred to the holiday accommodation or its contents during their tenancy. At the end of the tenancy, the landlords and tenants will inspect the holiday accommodation together, and will note any losses, breakages or damage which have been sustained. The landlords will then return the tenants their deposit, less any sums due for reparation of loss or damage to the holiday accommodation or its contents, or for the cleaning service, should the landlords deem this necessary.
Cancellation
11. The tenants may cancel their reservation at any time, but in so doing forfeit any and all rental sums already paid. If the tenants cancel less than two months before the commencement of the rental period, they will pay the landlords 75% of the agreed rent, if they have not already done so.
12. The landlords may only cancel the tenants' reservation in a case of emergency, by re-paying them all rental sums which they have paid.
Description of the Holiday accommodation
13. The holiday accommodation occupies the ground floor of a converted stone barn, which is at right-angles to the old
farm-house in Pasturat occupied by the landlords. It has its own entirely private entrance, terrace and garden area, and
comprises :
- a living room, divided into
- a sitting area, with sofa & two armchairs, TV, VCR/DVD player, & music-centre
- a dining area, with dining table and 4 chairs
- a kitchen area, with fitted oak wall and floor cupboards, ceramic hob, built-in oven, fridge, washing machine,
microwave oven, kettle, and coffee-machine. Iron, ironing board, portable cool-box and hairdryer are all provided.
- a bathroom, with WC, basin and shower.
- two bedrooms, one with a 1m60 wide double
bed, and the other with 2 single beds.
Bedlinen and bath towels are provided.
- a private 30 square metre terrace,
with views over the Lot valley.
- a private parking area, large enough for a single car.
Use of the pool
14. The rent includes use of a 20 x 40ft
swimming pool and adjacent terrace, situated just above the holiday accommodation, shared with the landlords.
Use of the pool is entirely at tenants' risk.
15. The tenants undertake to abide by the security measures concerning the use of the swimming pool set out in 16 below,
and to supervise the use of the pool by any children in their party to ensure conformance with these security measures.
The tenants accept full responsibility for the safety of all in their party in this regard, and for any damage they may do
to the pool, its equipment, or surrounding terraces. They undertake to reimburse in full the cost of repairing any such
damage.
16. The security measures concerning the use of the swimming pool are as follows:
a) IT IS NOT SAFE TO DIVE INTO THE POOL. It is 1m30 at the shallow end, where the steps are, and 1m50 at the other end.
b) Glass goggles, masks or flippers, or anything else which may pierce the liner, are not to be taken into or used in the
vicinity of the pool.
c) Children are always to be accompanied and supervised by an adult, to ensure that they use the pool safely, that they
do not run around it or behave in any way that may endanger or inconvenience other pool-users.
