Some local restaurants.

| | It is hard to eat badly in French restaurants; our area is no exception, and indeed boasts more than its fair share of establishments rated highly in the famous Michelin Red Guide. The Quercy is renowned for its cuisine, and the French eat out more often than the British, which tends to make restaurant prices much lower than in Britain.
The restaurants on this page are just a selection of some of our favourites, arranged by distance from the gite. The prices are indicative of what you'd pay, for a mid-priced menu, per person. (To convert from sterling to US dollar prices, add 50% - e.g. £10 is approx. $15). You are strongly advised to book ahead, especially in season. If language is a problem, we are happy to help!
To de-code a Michelin rating symbol in a listing, simply point your mouse-pointer at it. Where there is a picture of a plate of food in the green margin to the left of a restaurant listing, it depicts a dish for which the restaurant has published the recipe (which you can see by clicking on the dish).
